- Head to Umananda Temple on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River. Take a ferry to reach the temple.

Transportation: Public transportation options are limited in remote areas. Consider renting a vehicle or hiring a local guide for convenient travel.
Respect Local Customs: Meghalaya has diverse tribal communities with unique traditions and customs. Respect local customs, dress modestly, and seek permission before photographing people.
Cash and ATMs: Carry sufficient cash as ATMs may be limited, especially in rural areas. Credit/debit cards are accepted in major towns but may not be widely accepted in remote areas.
Pack Light: Due to the terrain and weather, pack lightweight, waterproof clothing, sturdy shoes, and essentials like insect repellent and sunscreen.
Electricity: Voltage in Meghalaya is 220-240V, 50Hz. Type D plugs are commonly used, so bring appropriate adapters if needed.

If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the date of travel, 25.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellation is made between 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel, 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellation is made within 15 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Payment Policy:

100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 15-20 days before the date of Journey
